Project Private Garden: Imperia
In a hilly area characterized by an old terraced olive groves was designed and built this garden.
The preservation and enhancement of landscape and natural emergencies was the inspirational theme to allow full integration of home and garden landscape. The terraced housing upstream characterized by old olive trees have all been recovered and restored. In the downstream part has been preserved an old oak grove.
The distribution requirements made necessary for the housing needs and for the use of the various parts of the garden have been designed and manufactured to be designed in harmony with the landscape. We have designed a route via stairs and ramps linking all areas of the garden also enhancing views and emergencies.
The garden has a population of five distinct areas: the oak, the low viewpoint, the swimming pool overlooking the gulf of Imperia, the old olive trees with different viewpoints, and the arbor just outside the house. Great care has been taken in the use of local materials for what concerns the new terracing and paving.
